How to Make a Photo Collage Online

Arrange multiple photos into a single grid or mosaic for social media posts, event memories, product showcases, and gifts.

Plan your layout before uploading

A 2-column grid works well for comparing before-and-after shots or pairing portraits. A 3- or 4-column grid is better for event photos, product grids, or travel collections with many images.

Aim for visual consistency across photos in the same collage — matching color tones, similar subject framing, or a common theme makes the result feel intentional.

Export for the right platform

For Instagram, export at 1:1 (1080×1080) or 4:5 (1080×1350) aspect ratio to fill the most feed space. For printing, use a standard paper ratio like 4:3 or 3:2 at high resolution.

Set gap size and background color before generating the final image. A 4–8 px white gap between photos gives a clean frame effect; no gap creates a continuous mosaic look.
