What is pixelation used for?
Privacy masking (e.g., license plates, faces), retro 8-bit art effects, or censoring sensitive areas in screenshots.
Can I pixelate just part of an image?
Use the Face Blur tool to automatically blur detected faces. Full selective-area pixelation is planned for a future update.
Will this reduce the resolution?
No — the output is the same pixel dimensions as the input, just with the visual mosaic applied.
