For client-side tools, your images are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.

Server-side AI tools (upscale, background removal, colorize, restore, etc.) require uploading the file for processing. Those tools clearly indicate when a file is sent to the server. Uploaded files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted within 60 minutes after processing.

We may collect basic technical data such as browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate region, and error reports to keep the service reliable.

If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We use the following types of cookies: (1) Necessary cookies — remember your cookie consent choice and UI preferences. (2) Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (page views, tool usage, session duration). (3) Advertising cookies — Google AdSense to display relevant ads.

Where required by law, analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled after you give consent. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

ScaleImg uses Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-6542688880219942) to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show personalized ads based on your browsing history.

Server-processed image files are automatically deleted within 60 minutes.

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics data retention settings (default 14 months).

Contact form emails are retained as long as necessary to respond and for up to 2 years afterward.
