How to Split an Image for an Instagram Grid (3x3)

Split the image into equal tiles
Upload a square or 4:5 image and split it into a 3x3 grid. Each tile should be at least 1080px wide so Instagram does not soften it.
Banner-style layouts also work: a 1x3 split makes a wide panorama across one profile row.
Post in the right order
Instagram shows the newest post first, so upload tiles in reverse: bottom-right first, top-left last.
Keep important details away from tile edges — profile grids have small gaps between posts that can break fine lines.
